A lot of physical strength is required, therefore a certain amount of exercise mainly for the numerous different land levels of the territory. The places visited are amongst the most beautiful and characteristic of Salento. Travelling immersed in nature, between the Mediterranean scrub and woodlands, at the same time enjoying a view of the towns in the valley in respect to the Serre of Supersano and Ruffano, the Serre Mucorone, to Borgo Cardigliano and to the Serre Peccatori. The excursion allows you to see farms, pajare, dry built walls, caves and much more. The start-off is from the historical town centre of Specchia arriving at Supersano near the Museum of the Woods “MUBO”, or vice-versa, from MUBO/Palazzo Manfredi (head offices of IAT of Supersano) towards the Serre Specchiesi, arriving at the Risolo Palace (headoffice of IAT of Specchia). The route is 27kms to be covered in a medium of 2 hours(time calculated without stops). The itinerary can also be done in phases among the towns involved (Specchia-Ruffano-Supersano), in order to make it viable for inexperienced cyclists.
